A large acreage estate in Nambour, Highworth consists of a number of acreage lots less than ten minutes outside of town centre. There are only nine lots in the project, each of which is larger than 9.2 acres. All of the lots sit on highly fertile ground with a number of creeks running through the properties.
Highworth is a new house and land estate located in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. Consisting of only nine lots, the estate sits on a former dairy farm. The lots range between 9.24 — 55.48 acres, making them ideal for those looking for everything from hobby farms to a more serious farming operation.
Some of the lots have new houses on them — an example is Lot 2, which is home to a new 261 sqm Hamptons-inspired house. This includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a larger kitchen (with a butler’s pantry) and integrated indoor-outdoor spaces. House designs between the lots can vary, as can the number of bedrooms, etc. There are also options to put in a pool or shed if needed. Of course, if you decide that you need to add a new wing to the house or want to add a pool at a later date, there’s plenty of room for that!
A rather nice feature of the development is that every lot has views, owing the fact the estate sits in the Nambour Valley. A number of the properties also have small permanent creeks, which might make them attractive for those looking for high-quality grazing pasture.
The whole estate will be serviced by bitumen roads, and be fitted with power, phone and internet lines.
Some lots have completed houses on them, and are ready to move into now. Others are ready to be built on.
Located at 264 Nambour-Mapleton Road, Nambour (Highworth on some maps), the Highworth Estate sits a few minutes drive outside of the main Nambour town centre. The estate sits less than 10 minutes from Nambour’s central shopping and entertainment district. This area has a number of shops (including a Coles and Big W), restaurants (in every cuisine) and cafes, along with entertainment options like cinemas and the Nambour Library.
For peace of mind, residents will be comforted to know that there are a number of amenities close by that will ensure their health and safety. The Nambour General Hospital is just five minutes drive down the road. The local police station is six minutes down the road, and there are two fire stations within eight minutes of the development.
For residents who have (or plan to have) children, there are a number of options in the surrounding area. This includes the Nambour Community Pre-school and Kindergarten (for children aged 5 and below). Primary school-aged children have a number of options, including Burnside State School, St Joseph’s Primary School, and Woombye State School. The closest high schools include Burnside State High School and St John’s College (a boys-only catholic high school). These schools cater to children in years 7 through to 12. Some of the schools in the area run from Prep/Grade 1 to Grade 12: this includes OneSchool Global (Nambour Campus), Nambour State College, and Blackall Rage Independent School and Nambour Christian College. All schools are known for having strong science programs.
Highworth is being sold by Amber Werchon Property. Well-known throughout the Sunshine Coast, Amber Werchon have been involved in the industry for over a decade and the senior management team has been involved in the property industry for a number of years.
