Herses Road Estate is a 66 lot land estate in Eagleby, south of Brisbane. Blocks range in size from 400 sqm to 530 sqm, and in price from $208,900 to $223,900. Most blocks have an average frontage size of 8-12.9 metres. Most blocks are elevated, meaning that they will catch eastern breezes. Stage 1 is sold out, with lots in Stages 2, 3 and 4 still available for sale. House and Land packages are available with 2 part contracts.
Herses Road Estate is located in a great spot in Eagleby, as it is surrounded by parkland, bike trails, the Logan River and nature reserves on one side. This makes it ideal for families and young professionals thinking about starting a family. Families and young professionals may also find Herses Road Estate, and Eagleby in general, good for them as the average age is 33, and almost every household in Eagleby has a child and there are a lot of family friendly activities in the area. Located almost equal distance between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, commuting from the Herses Road Estate will be easy.
The size and the location of the lots is, in our opinion, a good deal for the location. Eagleby is still a growing suburb, and whilst Beenleigh – the neighbouring suburb – is well established, Eagleby is less so. However, the suburb is starting to come into its own, and the Herses Road Estate is in a position to take advantage of that.
Located at Herses Road, Herses Road Estate is located to the east of Beenleigh. This makes it very popular with people who commute to Brisbane and/or the Gold Coast, because it has easy access to the Pacific Motorway and sits almost exactly between the two destinations (just a thirty minute drive from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast).
Herses Road Estate is also located in a great position in Eagleby. A shopping centre (which has a supermarket and specialty stores) is about one kilometre away, and the Logan Hyperdome and Town Mega Centre are a couple of minutes drive away.
There are only two public transport options available for Herses Road Estate residents. Firstly, the Eagleby Train Station is one of the few stops on the express line between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This makes getting to these destinations much easier, not to mention faster. The train station is about a 10-minute drive away. Unfortunately, there aren’t any bus stops close by (the closest is a 10-minute walk away), however, this may not be an issue for some people. As we said with the train station, whether these public transport options are viable for you is something you will need to decide.
There are quite a few schools in Eagleby and the surrounding suburbs. In Eagleby itself, there are two state schools: Eagleby State School, and Eagleby South State School. In Beenleigh, the next suburb over, there are many more schools. Beenleigh State School, St. Joseph’s Tobruk Memorial School, Trinity College, Beenleigh Special School, and Beenleigh State High School are all options within a 30-minute drive of Eagleby Estate.
FRD Group is a property company with interests in finance, real estate and development. Herses Road Estate is one of their development projects and it is being sold by McAndrew real estate agents.
