Sierra Nuvo is a new apartment development to be built on Highgate Hill, Brisbane. Named for the original name for the suburb, Sierra Madre (Mother Mountain), Sierra Nuvo — which is a play on the word ‘nuevo’, meaning ‘new’ in Spanish — is certainly bringing something new to Highgate Hill. There are a range of two, three and four-bedroom apartments for sale in this off-the-plan development. There are also four penthouse apartments available.
The 44 apartments at Sierra Nuvo are all larger than normal for Brisbane, with the two-bedroom apartments coming in at 116m², three-bedroom at 114m², and the four-bedroom apartments at 158m². All of the apartment types have two car parks and a storage cage, and each apartment has its own separate custom laundry with a washing machine and dryer, Smeg appliances as well as an integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine fridge.
The standard residents all have high 2.7m ceilings, with the penthouses offing a lofty 3.2m ceiling height throughout. Residents at Sierra Nuvo will be able to relax with a high-level of security ensured via CCTV and keyless entry. Sierra Nuvo is ideal for downsizers, as each apartment has plenty of storage space, an additional lockable storage cage and a minimum of two side-by-side car spaces. This apartment development is also pet friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend with you when you move.
If you’re searching for a large apartment with luxury finishes, located close to the centre of the action in the city, 443 Queen Street is another off-the-plan development worth looking into. This luxury waterfront development consists of a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments across a 47-storey tower, all with great views. Apartments at 443 Queen Street start from $730,000 for a one-bedroom apartment. This iconic design, coupled with the rare location and outstanding facilities mean a development of this calibre is unlikely to be repeated in Brisbane.
The sales display for Sierra Nuvo is currently open onsite at 18 Jones Street, Highgate Hill. It’s open Wednesday – Friday from 2pm until 4pm and weekends from 10am until 3pm. To book an appointment to view the sales display, please enquire below.
Construction at Sierra Nuvo is currently underway, with completion expected in December 2019 and residents able to move in before Christmas.
Sierra Nuvo is located in Highgate Hill at 18 Jones Street. Jones Street itself is fairly quiet, with ample street parking available for guests (2 hour limit between 7am and 6pm weekdays, with resident permits excepted). The adjoining street, Dornoch Terrace, runs all the way through Highgate Hill and connects to Hargrave Road in West End, providing easy accessibility to the neighbouring suburbs of West End and South Brisbane. The endless restaurants, bars, cafes, bookstores and boutiques which make up Boundary Street are just 15-minutes walk from Sierra Nuvo, with Southbank’s Grey Street precinct (and South Bank Train Station) also only a 20-minute walk away. This new apartment development is located 1.5km from the West End ferry terminal and 1.6km from the South Bank ferry terminal, so residents can select which terminal will work best for them based on their destination.
Residents have access to the ‘Skygarden’, which includes a 15-metre infinity-edge lap pool, wading pool and spa, private entertaining ‘pods’ and greenery. The Residents Lounge includes a private courtyard, with plenty of space for entertaining.
Sierra Nuvo is a project by Skyring, who are both financing and developing this new apartment building.
