Element Residences is a small exclusive apartment development in East Brisbane (4169), a suburb approximately 1 km from the Brisbane CBD. If you buy here you will relish in an entire floor of living space in East Brisbane’s riverside precinct. Each apartment features two bathrooms and two car parks which is great for an independent couple.
The building has a north-eastern aspect. Views are through a corridor down Wellington Rd and over a old Queensander located directly in front of the project. It is a strange shaped lot, so it may not be possible to develop upon, but it would be worth enquiring as to what the Developer believes will happen with this site.
The development comprises 200m² of living space per floor over eight floors. Natural tones will be used inside and out with exterior timber panelling adding a nice design feature.
Each apartment has three double-bedrooms. A multi-purpose room could be easily converted into an extra bedroom for visitors as well.
The living and dining areas open onto tiled entertainment terraces which utilise clear panelling to produce an uninterrupted outlook. Floor-to-ceiling windows also maximise the views.
Finishes include Herringbone timber flooring, New York marble benchtops and European appliances. A six-metre wardrobe is one example of how the element of space has been captured in this development as is the additional storage area below.
Element Residences is just a minutes walk to Mowbray Park which offers nice green space and a small river walk. The Clem 7 tunnel is also around the corner. The CityCat terminal is 200 metres walk which will connect you to Southbank, New Farm, Teneriffe, Bulimba or the CBD.
The development resides between Kangaroo Point and Norman Park. East Brisbane is an established suburb primarily occupied by Queenslander-style homes, apartments, townhouses and renovated homes, with a quite heavily developed corridor between Shafton Avenue and the Brisbane river, in which Element sits.
Close by are an abundance of services, facilities and schools like Churchie College and East Brisbane State Primary School. The closest shopping and dining precinct is Dockside which is a short walk away, although the CBD and its many attractions in this regard is literally a few minutes away by ferry.
No new developments are forecast to be built in front of Element which will foreshadow the views however we do recommend making enquiries on what may happen on the lot directly in front. Aria Property Group have a 12 floor residential development being constructed behind which may interrupt some views. In addition, there are several new developments popping up further near the Story Bridge but are at least 150 metres away.
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2019: Construction on Element is expected to commence in mid-April, 2019.
