The Montague Residences and Montague Markets are part of Pradella’s $1 billion Riverside West End master-planned community. The apartment side of the project will be spread over two towers and offer 181 brand-new homes with resort style facilities.
Said to be ‘West ends newest lifestyle destination’, the Montague Markets will top off the master planned community that Pradella have been working on since 2007; stretching from Montague road to River Side Drive. There have not been many details released as of yet, but a spokes person for Pradella said that the new Montague Markets and Residences will have a similar vibe to the Gasworks in Newstead.
The Montague Markets part of the project will offer shopping, dining and entertainment for residents and West End locals. The most exciting part of the plans being Tondara Lane – which aims to bring a slice of the increasingly popular laneway culture to West End’s Riverside – with regular pop-up spaces and markets. Retailers confirmed so far are Woolworths and BWS.
Plans were officially unveiled at the start of July 2018, and construction is due to start in late 2018. This is Pradella’s 14th project in West End, which they expect to be complete in mid-2020. For full details of the announcement see our news article.
