Seventy One Constitution Avenue is a new apartment and townhouse development in Canberra, ACT. The project has a wide range of floor plans on offer, all of which come with high-quality inclusions.
This project is yet to be reviewed by a PropertyMash journalist and has been listed to provide you with the broadest selection of new property available. If you would like more information on Seventy One or would like to read a full review of Seventy One, please send our journalists a request here:
Seventy One will include 71 one, two and three-bedroom apartments along with a number of ‘Executive Suites’ with three and four-bedroom living over a single level. Even within these types of apartments, there is a range on offer: one bedroom, two bedroom, two bedroom + two living spaces, two bedroom + study, and three bedroom configurations are available. Every apartment has day beds for relaxing in the sun (with storage underneath!), along with buter’s pantries, extra storage, a walk-in-wardrobe in the master bedroom, and a breakfast bar. Every unit that looks onto Constitution Avenue will also have a wintergarden balcony to extend the use of the living area in winter.
There are also seven ‘Signature Collection’ townhouses at Seventy One. These townhouses each have their own private street address, and have three to five bedroom, multiple living areas, 80 sqm+ private courtyards, and private garages with space for up to six cars. The ‘Signature Collection’, as noted, will be subdivided off from the apartments to provide not only individual addresses but also a smaller body corporate fee as there is little to maintain. Internal access from your garage to ‘your room’ (media, workshop, teenage retreat, hobby room…the list goes on) and upstairs to your living zone with bedrooms on ground and level 1. Large versatile courtyards also provide private entertainment with heavy landscaping to provide a green space buffer.
An interesting aspect of this project is that it is being built on the same location as the first ever commercial project of the developers, Hindmarsh. That building was the company’s headquarters until 2018. It’s clear that this project means a lot to the company – numerous mentions are made to the site’s history and the time and effort that has gone into the project design. When you head to the development’s website, a small introduction is front and centre from Hindmarsh executive chairman and founder, John Hindmarsh.
Construction on Seventy One has not begun yet. Construction is due to be complete in mid-2022.
Located at 71 Constitution Avenue, Campbell, Seventy One sits just outside of all of the action in the CBD. With everything from Parliament House to well-loved coffee shops within easy walking distance, residents will find walking or biking the best way to access all of the amenities close by.
If you enjoy getting out and about, there are a number of must-do activities close by. Commonwealth Park is a block away, and given its proximity to the Molonglo River it’s a great spot for picnics or workouts with a view. RSL Park is even closer if you don’t walk to walk that far. Questacon (the National Science and Technology Centre) is a few across the bridge if you need to entertain the kids, while the Civic Square (home to museums, theaters, many shops and restaurants and bars, among other amenities) is also just up the road.
Residents will have access to more than a few different facilities. This includes several green spaces, a 12-seat dining room, an external entertainment area with a BBQ, pizza oven, lounge room and external entertainment area that has a gas fire pit.
