Park Cove is a master-planned development in Hope Island, 20km north of Surfers Paradise. With 13 villas, 33 parkside terraces and 14 waterfront homes all sold out, the latest release ‘Park Cove Eastern Villas’ offers a rare opportunity to be a part of this waterfront Hope Island community. Launched on 9 September 2018, several of these villas have already sold. Park Cove Villas are situated within a gated residential enclave and offer marina berth packages with each home for under $600,000, making this development a great option for downsizers and empty-nesters looking for a lifestyle change.
Park Cove is a well-established master-planned estate on Hope Island, consisting of a mix of terrace homes, villas, and traditional homes. The Eastern Villas is the final release in the master development. Buyers have the choice between the Eastern Villas, which are three and four-bedroom villas from $519,000 (or $584,000 with a marina berth), and the Waterfront Collection, six three-bedroom waterfront villas from $835,000 (or $899,000 with a marina berth). Ideal for downsizers coming from within Queensland, internationally or interstate, these townhouses offer great value for the inclusions and facilities you get. As of the end of September, the Eastern Villas were over 30% sold despite only publically launching at the start of September.
We love…
But remember that…
Park Cove Eastern Villas are located at 27 – 31 Sickle Avenue, Hope Island. Positioned on the northern end of the Gold Coast, in amongst the winding passages and canals of the Coomera River, Hope Island is a boaties paradise. Park Cove is less than 4km away from two of the best golf courses in the area and Sanctuary Cove Resort is also only a 10-minute drive away if you ever needed a staycation (not that you would when living in these villas). The brand new Hope Island Marketplace, due to open in December of 2018, is only 800m away.
All buyers at Park Cove Eastern Villas will have the option to purchase their own deep-water, bridge-free marina berth with direct ocean access. With only eight available though, they likely won’t be on the market for long. Residents of Park Cove also have access to a communal pool, barbecue and entertaining area.
The majority of the villas (and all of the waterfront villas) have three bedrooms and two car spaces, with a few four-bedroom and two car space floor plans. The villas are sized between 178m² and 224m². The six waterfront villas are the largest, with sizes between 220m² and 224m²
Smart Community Technology is integrated through the whole development, including the villas. The main entrance to your villa has an electronic key lock with allows you to open it using a fingerprint, passcode or mechanical key. You also have a night-vision camera so you can see everything, even in the dark, and a ‘leave home’ button, which gives you one-touch control over all of your smart home devices. There’s also motion detectors and smart light switches, which help make Park Cove extra safe for all residents.
Something not often offered is the two large living spaces and oversized master bedroom, which makes Park Cove a dream for downsizers who are accustomed to the extra space. All villas have high ceilings of 2.7 metres, and the living spaces are designed to feel open and spacious. Situated upstairs, the main bedrooms are oversized and complete with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.
In the kitchen, you’ll find reconstituted stone benchtops and designer tapware. European appliances — either Bosch or Miele —finish off the large and functional kitchens. The air conditioning is ducted and all villas are all NBN ready.
Large glass doors and windows fill the bedrooms and living spaces with light and allow the fresh breeze to floor through from the water. Even the non-waterfront properties capitalise on the cool breezes coming off the water thanks to the clever design of the villas.
With the enviable location and excellent price point, the Eastern Villas are likely to be purchased by owner-occupiers, rather than investors. Three bedroom homes in Hope Island are listed for a median price of $720,000 and three bedroom apartments average out at $525,000. Considering the marina berth access, waterfront location, facilities and finishes and the investment at Park Cove is a no-brainer. The area is very desirable, with high rental demand and an annual growth rate of an astonishing 11.6% (the average for the Gold Coast as a whole sits at just over 5%).
The Eastern Villas is the last stage of the master-planned development of Park Cove. This isn’t the only master-planned development on Hope Island though, with Anchorage now selling their Stage 4 apartments. Stage 3 of this development is expected to be completed by December. In nearby Coomera, Riverbrooke townhouses are also under construction.
Currently, there are no body corporate details available for Park Cove Eastern Villas.
