East Palm Beach is a new apartment project spread across nine storeys. The two and three-bedroom apartments overlook the ocean, with the water less than 50 meters from the development.
A new apartment development in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, East Palm Beach is over 30% sold at the time of writing. The apartments come in a range of floor plans, and most have ocean or hinterland views. With open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas which are connected to balconies, the apartments are designed so that residents can make the most of the cross-breezes coming off the ocean.
Buyers can choose between the ‘Coastal’ (light) or ‘Urban’ (dark) colour schemes for their apartment, although both are fairly neutral in their own ways. An inclusion we really like is the free-standing bath in the master bathroom — you rarely see this as standard and it shows the high quality design that has gone into these apartments. Body corporate fees are expected to be between $76 and $80 per week, depending on the apartment chosen.
All of the apartments have at least one car park, although more can be purchased if needed. The apartments also have ducted ait-conditioning, and timber flooring, along with stone bench tops in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Another project on the coast is Elysian Broadbeach. The 20-storey apartment building sits 70 meters from the beach, with a range of two, three and four-bedroom apartments available. The high-tech development includes a virtual concierge system known as My Butler, which is designed to not only assist in booking both onsite facilities and local services (car-washes, cleaners, dry-cleaning) but provide a communication portal with building managers and residents. Prices start from $835,000.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2020.
Located at 3 Twenty Third Avenue, Palm Beach, East Palm Beach sits just off the Gold Coast Highway. There is a cafe located just a few doors down — Espress Moto Cafe, which is known for being a great brunch destination (and for doing very good coffee) — along with a BWS, pizza store, and hairdresser, to name a few of the shops. Just down the road, residents will find the Pacific Surf Life Saving Club, and a 7-Eleven and McDonalds. There are a number of parklands nearby, as you can see on the map below, which may be great for residents who enjoy working out in nature or having picnics with the kids.
The closest school is Palm Beach Primary School, which is two minutes drive away. Elanora Secondary School is four minutes away, as is Marymount Catholic College.
Residents at East Palm Beach will have access to a residents-only ‘retreat’ area, which will include a pool, BBQ area, and several dining spaces.
