Located at 20 Second Avenue, Maroochydore (although technically part of Cotton Tree), Driftwood sits just off Aerodrome Road, one of the major thoroughfares in Maroochydore. This means amenities like shops, restaurants, cinemas and doctors are never far away. For example, the closest grocery store is 2-minutes drive away, and the closest doctor is only one minute away. The Maroochy RSL is just around the corner, and there are a number of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
There are also a number of schools in the surrounding area. The closest is just across the road: Memorial Park Community Kindergarten. Maroochydore State School is 5-minutes drive away, and it caters to children from Prep – Year 6. The closest high school is Maroochydore State High School, which is just a little further away at 6-minutes drive. Immanuel Lutheran College and Stella Maris Catholic Primary School are both less than 10 minutes away, as is the International College of Qld for residents who are doing diplomas in beauty-related industries.
