A recently completed apartment development, The Retreat sits next to Sydney Olympic Park in Lidcombe. There are one, two and three-bedroom apartments remaining for sale in the last two stages, Topia and Element.
The Retreat is a multi-stage apartment development located in Lidcombe. There are two stages of the project currently selling: ‘Element’ and ‘Topia’. Both have completed construction and are ready to move into today.
There are one, two and three-bedroom apartments remaining across the two stages that are currently selling. The one, two and three-bedroom apartments at Element are priced from $600,000, while the remaining one and two-bedroom apartments in Topia are selling from $595,000.
Both stages have apartment designs that are made to be low-maintenance. This is obvious in the use of tiles through the main living and kitchen areas, and open-plan areas connecting to the balconies for increased entertaining space. Floor-to-ceiling windows are used throughout the apartments to increase cross-flow breezes and light. There are two colour schemes throughout the apartments (light and dark), but both are neutral enough that residents will be able to make their own mark on the space.
As the development is complete, interested buyers can view available apartments. This is available by appointment only. To make an appointment, please use the enquiry form.
Construction on all stages of The Retreat is now complete. Residents can expect to move in as soon as they’d like.
Located at 9 Carter Street, Lidcombe, The Retreat sits across the road from the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre and just down the road from the ANZ Stadium. The rest of the stadiums and showgrounds are less than five minutes walk away.
Active residents will find that The Retreat is in a great location for them. Bicentennial Park is 15 minutes walk (if you stroll), while a number of bike and walking/hike paths are spread throughout the surrounding parklands. Homebush Bay/The Flats (residents call the bay area both names) connects to the nearby Parramatta River, which is great for those who like to get out on the water.
Given that the area surrounding Olympic Park is well connected, residents will find that they can access to the city and other areas quite easily . The CBD is 30 minutes away if residents take the Western Motorway, while (currently) the nearest train station is 650 meters down the road. Expect infrastructure to dramatically improve over the coming years as millions of dollars in infrastructure improvements move ahead in the area, like the proposed Parramatta Light Rail.
Residents at The Retreat will have access to a number of facilities throughout the different stages of the development. Across the podium level they will find a number of gardens and recreation zones, with space set aside for table tennis and bocce. Sheltered dining areas with BBQ’s will also be dotted throughout the podium level. Residents will also find a 20 meter indoor lap pool, along with a gym, spa and sauna. An onsite childcare centre is also available for families.

The Retreat is being developed by Meriton. The well-known Australian developer has been operating in the industry for over 56 years, and they have a number of projects throughout Sydney and other cities on the east coast.
