Rivello is a new apartment project located on the water in the ever-popular Brisbane suburb of Hamilton. The project has been extremely popular in the market so far, with over 80% of the apartment sold within the first few weeks of launch.
Rivello is the newest addition to the Portside Wharf development area, just 6kms outside of the Brisbane CBD. The new development sits on the water, with views over the surrounding area, all the way to the CBD. Buyers have the choice between one, two and three bedroom apartments, along with a number of exclusive sub-penthouses and penthouses. The apartments are priced from $605,000.
Rivello is designed to pay homage to the surrounding area, with large parts of the development covered in sub-tropical plants. Even the exterior facade is designed to mimic the Brisbane River, with graceful curved lines and natural tones. This design style has the added benefit of working extremely well with the general breezes in the area, increasing the amount of cross-flow breezes each apartment will receive – a massive positive in locations such as Brisbane, as it helps keep the apartments cool without requiring a massive electricity bill. All of the apartments themselves are open-plan in design, to allow residents to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces as one (which is without even considering the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the apartments).
SEPTEMBER 2021: Tomkins Commercial and Industry Builders have been appointed as the builders for Rivello. Work is expected to start months ahead of schedule, given the success of the project once it launched to market, with commencement expected in late October. Completion is anticipated for late 2023.
Rivello is located at 15 Wharf Street, Hamilton, placing it on the shoreline of the Brisbane River. There are a number of amenities within walking distance of the project as it is located inside the Portside Wharf development: restaurants, shops, and a number of entertainment venues including cinemas. Just down the road, residents will also find the ever-popular Eat Street Markets, which is home to over 70 shops and restaurants (including five themed bars), and live entertainment.
Now that construction on Kingsford Smith Drive is complete, residents will be able to make the drive to the Brisbane CBD in just 15 minutes. The Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourses are five minutes down the road, and the Royal Queensland Golf Club is also only four minutes down the road.
Residents will have access to a number of facilities across the development. This includes a rooftop recreation area with fire pits, a resident’s lounge and wine cellar, meeting/study rooms in the Business Centre, and outdoor lounge and BBQ areas. There will also be a pool (which, if you look at the render above, will have a fantastic view over the Brisbane River).
