The Beachfront is a new mixed-use project on the beachfront at Buddina, a Sunshine Coast suburb. The 73 three and four-bedroom apartments and beach houses sit on the beachfront with only a park separating the project from the beach in Buddina. Offering never-to-be-built-out views, these luxury residences range from $750,000 to $3,250,000 and offer direct beach access.

The Beachfront is a beachfront apartment and beach house development sitting approximately 20 metres back from the beach in Buddina. The project features beach houses, apartments, sub penthouses and penthouses. The three and four-bedroom apartments are spread across five storeys, while the six ‘Beach Houses’ sit just in front of the apartments. The 29 three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments have five different floor plan designs to select from. There are two four-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouses, and six three-bedroom, two-bathroom sub-penthouses. All of the apartments and beach houses have fully-ducted air conditioning and feature two secure car parks. The building also features additional storage space and serviced elevators. Each of the 73 residences has an abundance of natural light which flows throughout and are all decked out with high-quality finishes. Open-plan layouts and large-balconies with floor-to-ceiling glass doors provide seamless integration between the indoor and outdoor spaces, further cultivating that dream beach house vibe. Most residences also include a separate ‘beach room’ at entry with a vanity, sink and shower, allowing you to wash the salt and sand off yourself before heading back inside.
As well as stunning interiors and finishes, the exterior of the building is also noteworthy. The building showcases modern architecture while embracing a natural form with bold lines complemented by vertical timber screening and cascading natural greenery.
Construction has not yet started on The Beachfront, although the image below will give you an indication of the location and size of the development along the beachfront at Buddina. Construction on this project is expected to be completed in June 2022.
Located at 84-85 Pacific Boulevard, Buddina, The Beachfront sits exactly where you would expect it to — the beach(front). On the street behind Pacific Boulevard sits Buddina State School, which is great for residents with children — it’s just a two-minute walk away. For downsizers and those purchasing for a holiday home, you can expect some noise from the playgrounds during school hours, but we are sure this would be negligible and most likely any noise from the school would be drowned out by the sound of the waves crashing. There is also a large parkland which is home to the Kawana Tennis Club, Buddina Community Garden, and Kawana Library, amongst other things.
If you need to do your weekly shop, then the Kawana Shoppingworld Centre is a minute’s drive away. It’s home both a Coles, an ALDI and a Woolworths, along with 160 specialty shops from City Beach, to NAB, to Flight Centre. If you’re feeling peckish, it also has a rather large food court. If you want some more substantial food, the Kawana Surf Club is just down the road. Of course, if there’s nothing around that you find appetising, Mooloolaba and Cotton Tree — two of the biggest foodie spots on the Sunshine Coast — are about 8-minutes drive down the road.
The Sunshine Coast Airport is 15 minutes drive away, for those who travel regularly. There are roughly ten different doctors within five minutes drive, which is great for residents who may have small children or health concerns. The closest hospital is the new Sunshine Coast Hospital which will take approximately 15 minutes drive.
Residents of The Beachfront will all have access to a resort-style pool area, featuring sunken sun loungers and parasols. The pool will be surrounded by tropical gardens landscaped with mature trees to give the area an aura of tranquillity. Next to the pool, you will find a change room, toilet and residents-only lounge which is the perfect space for a few drinks with your friends and family (or even your friendly neighbours). At the front of the building, there will also be a corner store offering groceries and snacks, coffee as well as a bar.
