Jewel will be wrapping up construction in Q2, 2020, and this mega project will soon become a Queensland, no an Australian favourite owing to its incredible design, great location and impressive amenities. Unnamed Crown Group West End project

To coincide with the Queen’s Wharf redevelopment, Crown Group are launching their first ever Brisbane project in late 2020. Whilst the developer has a number of projects in Sydney (both the Arc and Infinity have won several industry awards), the West End development will be Crown Group’s first in Queensland, with 455 apartments set on 1.25ha of prime waterfront land at 117 Victoria Street. There will be a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as terraces and four-bedroom penthouses. “Brisbane is showing the healthiest growth of any of the major markets in Australia, and given that construction has started on the Queens Wharf project, bringing billions of dollars’ worth of construction and thousands of jobs, we see a very bright future for the residential market in the city,” Crown Group Chief Operating Officer Pierre Abrahamse said.

The new West End luxury apartment development is designed by renowned architectural firm Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp (fjmt) to create a living garden lifestyle that brings alive its riverfront setting and Brisbane’s glorious climate. An amended design creates four 12-storey structures over a common podium, allowing more landscaped walkways that connect with the riverfront public land. The new design also includes 4200sqm of communal open space.

Queen’s Wharf development

With the display suite now seven stories in the air, it’s obvious that the Queen’s Wharf Residences is getting ready to sell. Destination Brisbane Consortium project director Simon Crooks said the display suite, situated on the corner of George and Alice streets, would offer apartment buyers a taste of what was to come.

“Residents of Queen’s Wharf will be uniquely positioned to enjoy the best of Brisbane’s CBD being close to South Bank as well as having all the benefits that Queen’s Wharf provides at your doorstep,” he said.

The one, two and three-bedroom residences will have views of the river and CBD, while enjoying all the amenities you would expect of the massive resort/casino development. The precinct is set to have four luxury hotels, more than 50 bars and restaurants and 2000 residential apartments. Foreshore South, the riverfront area between the Goodwill Bridge and 1 William Street, was completed with an inner-city park, waterfront walkways and an upgraded bikeway. The apartments will be released to market in early 2020 when the display suite and visitors centre open. Residents could expect to move in around 2023.

Trilogy | Kangaroo Point, Brisbane

Trilogy Sky Bridge
Trilogy Sky Bridge

With a ‘Sky Bridge’ sitting 18 storeys above Vulture Street, Trilogy is a new offering that is set to transform the inner city suburb of Kangaroo Point. An impressive looking building that would no look out of place in London, Honk Kong or Shanghai, Trilogy features a sky bridge which will stretch across a gap between two of the three towers, with one of the two pools glass-bottomed, giving swimmers a stunning view to a “sky park’’ 13 levels below. Reminiscent of the Queens Wharf podium (see above), the sky bridge should offer amazing views of the Brisbane CBD. The Arden development application (DA) said its design allowed 6,088 sqm (114.8% of the site area) to be dedicated as outdoor rooms and open green spaces. There will be 525 apartments across the development, in a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom
