Place Projects have just released some interesting analysis of what they believe will be the future supply pipeline for the coming 3 years in the Brisbane apartment market. As you can see in the above image, they are forcasting a large number of the proposed apartment projects to be cancelled or mothballed.
Incidental feedback from many Developers is that if the Project has not reached the ‘no turning back phase’ it will be mothballed given the current sales rates in Brisbane.
So what does this all mean for buyers?
Excellent opportunities for buying at a discount and an increasing focus on owner occupier apartments.
