A new house and land project located in Upper Kedron, Ellendale shares a border with South D’Aguilar National Park. The estate has a number of green spaces throughout — more than 40% of the development is given over to natural corridors — and has been popular so far with first home buyers and families.
The display village at Ellendale showcases 20 homes from 12 different builders. These homes are designed to emulate the latest in building and style trends, and to maximise living spaces, which is something that will no doubt attract first home buyers and families.
There is currently a variety of land releases to choose between (Myrtle, Waratah and Flame Tree), with prices starting from $345,000 and land sizes ranging from 400 sqm up to 922 sqm. House and land packages are available, starting from $582,000 for a three bedroom or $621,000 for a four-bedroom home.
There is a future neighbourhood shopping centre and childcare centre planned adjacent to the Cedar Glen release, which is now sold out.

JUNE 2020: Construction continues to progress at Ellendale. Plans are currently in the pipeline to commence work on the next residential stage, the Flame Tree release, which is now selling. Works are progressing well within the sold out Cedar Glen precinct with settlements expected to occur in the coming weeks. The Honeyeater Road extension and Levitt Road upgrades are nearing completion with construction on the childcare centre underway.
APRIL 2020: Construction is underway at Ellendale, as you can see in the images below. In fact, Upper Kedron’s Ellendale community has been a hive of activity, with construction nearing completion on 39 new homesites in the estate’s Silver Leaf and Myrtle releases. Construction of new homes is now underway in the Waratah, Tallowwood and Beechwood releases, with new residents in these precincts expected to move in later in the year. Plans are currently in the pipeline to commence work on the next residential stage, the Oleander release, which will be brought to market shortly.
Located at 324 Canvey Road, Upper Kedron, Ellendale sits firmly in the middle of the Upper Kedron suburb. There are a number of amenities close by, including netball clubs, hairdressers, and numerous parks. The Brisbane CBD is just under 30 minutes away via car, and just slightly more than that via public transport.
Most of the nearby restaurants, shops and cafes are located a few minutes away, along Samford and Settlement Roads. Along both roads residents will be able to find everything from a Bunnings to sushi restaurants. Once Ellendale is complete, residents won’t have to travel that far, as a neighbourhood shopping centre is being built inside the development itself.
There are a number of schooling options in the surrounding areas. The closest state schools are Ferny Grove State School (for children in Prep – Year 6) and Ferny Grove State High School (for those in years 7 through to 12). Another primary school option is St Andrew’s Catholic School, which is known for its strong academic program, and great annual fairs.
Residents at Ellendale will have access to over 91 hectares of recreational green spaces. This includes parkland and natural corridors.
