Verdant Hill is a new house and land estate located in Tarneit, Victoria. The estate will have 1,400 lots once complete, and most lots average roughly 389 sqm in size. The estate will have almost 60 hectares of parklands, wetlands, playgrounds and community spaces throughout the estate. Verdant Hill is also close to a number of amenities throughout Tarneit and nearby Truganina, including retail centres and schools. In the future, new train stations and a number of new schools and retail centres will be built in the surrounding area.
There are a number of house and land packages on offer at Verdant Hill. As mentioned, lots average 389 sqm in size, and many different three and four-bedroom homes are on offer in the house and land packages. Every home has at least two bedrooms and two car parks. Frontages range between 12-13 metres.
JULY 2020: Construction is now complete on Clementine Boulevard Park, and the park and fitness equipment are now open for use. The Rosso Drive brige is nearing completion, and Stages 8, 9 and 10 are well on their way to completing civil works. Residents are moving into the estate progressively, as their homes are completed.
Located at the corner of Tarneit and Dohertys Road, Tarneit, Verdant Hill sits just less than 40 minutes outside of the Melbourne CBD. Just down the road residents will find Derrimut Road, which will connect them through to the busy Tarneit suburb centre. Here buyers will be able to find everything from shopping centres to bowls clubs. Several of the regions best restarutants and cafes are also just a few minutes drive away in this area.
Residents who commute into the city will find a number of routes to do so. Taking Boundary Road and then either the M1 or M2 will get them into the CBD within roughly 40 minutes. The closest train station is in Tarneit, six minutes down the road.
Buyers who have (or plan to have) children will be comforted by the number of schooling options in the area. Just down the road is Truganina College, which caters to children from Prep to Year 9. St Clare’s Catholic Primary School is a little further away at 12 minutes drive. Tarneit College (which also caters to children in Prep-Year 9) and its secondary school, Tarneit Senior College (for children in Year 10-12) share a campus four minutes drive away. Baden Powell College (Prep-Year 9) is seven minutes away, as is Westbourne Grammar School. Al-Taqwa College is a Prep-Year 12 Islamic school in the area, and it is consistently ranked one of the best schools in the country.
Residents at Verdant Hill will have access to a number of communal facilities. This includes over 60 hectares of parklands, wetlands and waterways, several walking, hiking and cycling trails. There is also a new sporting precinct at Verdant Hill, which now has a number of playing fields, tennis courts and other sporting facilities.
