The Star Entertainment Group, the owners of the Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast, today announced a major upgrade to the casino that will be a major boost to the Gold Coast economy.
The $850 million masterplan for the casino will include a 700-room residential and hotel tower, entertainment facilities, room for up to five buildings and improved connections to the nearby Pacific Fair Shopping Centre (which itself has just been through a major upgrade).
The tower will double the hotel’s existing capacity.
Construction could start as early as January next year, following development approvals and the consultation process.
Providing that the project goes ahead after community consultation, it will no doubt provide a very import boost to the Gold Coast and Queensland economies, which will be a big benefit to all property owners.
