  • Located at 140 Park Ridge Road, Park Ridge
  • Lots are ready to be built on in Stages 1A and 1B, with more stages expected to be released in 2020
  • The project has a big focus on sustainability and environmentally-friendly spaces, with over six hectares of green spaces to be spread throughout the final development

The Project

Carver’s Reach is a new house and land estate located in Park Ridge. The estate has a focus on creating environmentally-friendly spaces and areas for residents to use, and will have over six hectares of parkland throughout the estate once it is complete. So far, only stages 1A and 1B have been released to the market, with more expected to do so in 2020. Lots range between 247 — 550 sqm, and are priced from $203,000. There are a variety of house and land packages that can suit a lot, but all have three or four-bedroom houses with at least two bathrooms and two car parks. The house and land packages include designs by a number of different builders to ensure that each street has variety and each buyer can choose a design that suits them best.

The environmentally-friendly estate has a $130 million threatened tree species area, which is being used to help bring back the Bailey’s Cypress Pine, a tree that is now considered a rare species after 170 years of logging. This area will include historic walking trails and biodiversity corridors.

Construction Updates

The lots in Stages 1A and 1B are ready to build on, and further stages of the estate are currently undergoing earthworks.

Location

Located at 140 Park Ridge Road, Park Ridge, Carver’s Reach sits just off one of the main roads running through the suburb. The Park Ridge Town Centre — which is home to a number of restaurants and shops, including a Coles, Burrito Bar and craft stores — is three minutes drive away from the estate. Residents can also head towards Kensington to find some more taverns and a well-loved Fish and Chip shop.

The Brisbane CBD is roughly 35 minutes drive from Carver’s Reach, and the Gold Coast CBD just under an hour away. Redland Bay is just over 40 minutes away due to ongoing upgrades on some of the roads in this direction, although residents could expect this to get better over the years as construction begins to finish.

Buyers who have a family — or are planning on having a family soon — will find that there are a number of schools close by. Park Ridge Primary School and Park Ridge High School are three minutes drive down the road. Both are known for having extremely strong extra-curricular programmes, particularly in regards to music. Parklands Christian College is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 school under five minutes drive away. St Philomena School is another co-educational Prep-12 school in the area, and it has a focus on a ‘classical education of the liberal arts’.

Communal Facilities

There are a number of communal facilities at Carver’s Reach, as the estate has a large focus on ‘green’ living. As such, thoughout the six hectares of green space, there will be a dog off-leash park, BBQ area with shelters and seating, history trail of the area, kid’s pedal park and playground, half courts, a gym and outdoor exercise stations, parklands, and special planting zones for local and threatened species. There is also a proposed childcare centre for the estate.
