Paperbark Apartments offers 24 one and two-bedroom apartments at the end of a small quiet street in the leafy suburb of Coorparoo.
Quiet it may be, but it’s a stone’s throw from everything you need, including transport to the city, cafés and parks. Construction started on the project in Talbot Street in July 2015 and is now complete.
Each one (1) and two (2) bedroom apartment has open-plan living and dining areas, opening up onto private balconies. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms and living areas. Some apartments include study areas.
Apartments on the north side of Paperbark have views to the CBD and for apartments facing south, there are views across Coorparoo and Camp Hill.
The building has a secure lift entry and car parking with remote access for each resident.
Paperbark Apartments have been designed with quality modern finishes including stone bench tops and stainless steel European appliances in the kitchens.
The developer is Jadecorp Property Group, who is also responsible for the successful Pearl Apartments in the northern suburb of Lutwyche, which launched in July 2015.
Paperbark Apartments is located on Talbot Street in Cooparoo, 5km from the CBD in Brisbane’s inner south-east.
Coorparoo is a suburb full of surprises and hidden pockets, and several of them are almost on Paperbark’s doorstep.
The Martha Street Precinct, for example, is one of Brisbane’s best-kept secrets for coffee, dining and boutique shopping – and is just a two-minute drive from Paperbark. Here you’ll find cafés, the award-winning Mons Ban Sabai Thai restaurant, Rapide Restaurant for fine dining, and boutique homeware stores.
Venture slightly further and you’ll discover Bowies Flat Wetland. This artificial wetland is a small but wonderful surprise, with a boardwalk circuit winding across it, with attached decking and shelters and a couple of picnic tables on the banks.
Convenience is a key feature of Paperbark Apartments, as a full range of amenities are close to hand: Banks, medical and dental surgeries, supermarkets, cafés and public transport. Best of all, it’s only 300 metres from the Coorparoo Square residential and retail complex which will include a 10-theatre Dendy cinema, retail stores and eateries. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for in Coorparoo, the nearest mega-shopping-centre is Westfield Carindale.
Coorparoo is home of the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club, with home games played at nearby Langlands Park. Langlands Park is also used for training sessions for the Queensland and Australian Rugby League teams when they are playing in Brisbane, and the Easts Leagues Club is a popular social venue for locals. Other entertainment options include the Coorparoo RSL and Community Club, and the Coorparoo Bowls Club.
Neighbouring suburbs are Camp Hill, Holland Park, East Brisbane, Norman Park, Greenslopes and Seven Hills.
Buses run along Old Cleveland Road every few minutes, and it’s a 15-minute ride to the city, or there’s the option of using the Eastern busway network from Langlands Park bus station (a slightly longer walk).
The front entrance to Coorparoo State School is a one-minute walk away on Old Cleveland Road, and the Catholic girls’ school Loreto College is also in Coorparoo.
The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Griffith University’s South Bank campus, and the Southbank Institute of Technology are all within 6km of the development and easily accessible by public transport.
Four hospitals – Princess Alexandra, Greenslopes Private, the Mater Public and Private, and Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital – are all within 4km.
As the building is now complete you can inspect the apartments prior to purchase. The overall standard is on par with what you would expect for the price point – economical and sound.
Established for more than 15 years, Jadecorp Property Development + Construction value a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.
A one (1) bedroom, one (1) bathroom apartment with car parking space is selling for $380,000, with two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom apartment with car parking space on offer for $497,000.
