The Lane Residences are a new apartment project located in the suburb of Wynnum, a suburb to the east of the Brisbane CBD. The two and three-bedroom apartments are designed to allow residents to enjoy the Queensland weather year-round with larger than normal balconies.
A new apartment development, The Lane Residences are a smaller project with only 16 apartments and one restored house, all of which have two or three bedrooms. Designed with open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas that connect to the larger-than-normal balconies, The Lane Residences have a focus on integrated indoor-outdoor living, which is evident in the aforementioned design details, along with the entertainer’s kitchens and ducted air-conditioning. Every apartment also has extra storage both inside the apartment, and in the basement storage room, which is great for downsizers or professionals.
All of the apartments have a separate laundry area or room, which is always something apartment owners like. In the two-bedroom apartments, both bedrooms have their own walk-in wardrobes, although only the master has a connected bathroom. The three-bedroom apartments are designed so that the master sits on the opposite side of the apartment to the other bedrooms, offering more privacy to its occupants.
Both the two and three-bedroom floor plans are larger than average and in general are well designed. Unfortunately, they will not have flow through breezes but as we mentioned above balcony sizes are large and bedrooms are well separated, making it suitable for both investors and owner occupiers.
A similar project to The Lane Residences is Plaza Central Maroochydore. These one, two and three-bedroom apartments are located across from the newly refurbished Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre. Priced form $299,000, these apartments are designed for those who want to live close to the action of Maroochydore, and have easy access to anything they could need.

The Lane residents are located across the road from the Waterloo Bay Hotel in Wynnum, overlooking Wynnum Creek. There are a number of public transport options nearby, including the Wynnum railway station and the Wynnum Central train station, both of which are less than five minutes walk from the new apartments. A Woolworths and Coles are closeby on Wynnum’s high street, Bay Terrace, which is less than ten minutes away, and the Manly high street is ten minutes drive away, giving residents another place to shop and have breakfast and dinner.
Residents have access to a rooftop entertainment area with BBQ facilities and seating areas.
