With one, two and three-bedroom apartments, Embark is a great project for those who regularly commute to the Canberra CBD. According to the developer, the multi-stage development is proving popular with professionals and families so far.
The newest multi-stage apartment development in Lyneham, Embark sits less than 10-minutes from the Canberra CBD. Stage One of the development is currently under construction, with buyers expecting to move in late 2020.
There are a number of different apartment configurations at Embark. There are one, two and three-bedroom options, each of which are designed for different types of buyers. The one and two-bedroom apartments are geared towards professionals and downsizers, while the three-bedroom apartments have been designed with families in mind.
One of the main highlights of this project is its location just 10-minutes outside of Canberra and close to a number of amenities like shops, restaurants and cafes.
AUGUST 2020: Construction is now complete at Embark, so interested buyers can view available apartments virtually or by appointment.
MARCH 2020: Construction has begun at Embark, and is expected to finish on schedule in mid-2020.
Embark is located at 55 Owen Crescent, Lyneham. Backing onto Northbourne Avenue, the development will have street access from Owen Crescent once complete. The proximity to Northbourne Avenue means the Canberra CBD is just 8-minutes drive away. The tram is also an option for those who would prefer to use it, and it should only take roughly 15-minutes to get into the city. Just down the street, residents will find Challis, Woolley and Badham Streets, which are the closest shopping hubs. The immediate vicinity offers anything residents could need — there’s a Woolworths, service station, restaurants and cafes, to name just a few.
The development also sits just a few minutes walk from the Lyneham Wetlands. These wetlands were constructed in 2012, and are home to a number of bike and walking paths, playgrounds and, obviously, parkland.
There are a number of schools close to Embark. This includes Blue Gum Community School, which caters to children aged 0 to 16, and Emmaus Christian School, which teach from Preschool to Year 10. Lyneham Primary School is 3 minutes down the road. Lyneham High School is 2 minutes away, while Brindabella Christian College is 3-minutes drive away. St Joeseph’s Primary School is also just 3 minutes away, and Daramalan College is 4 minutes away. Another college that is close by is Dickson College. All of these schools cater to different types of students, so there will be something to suit everyone.
Residents at Embark will have access to the rooftop garden, which will include BBQ facilities. The rooftop will also have 360-degree views over the surrounding areas, making it great for entertaining family and friends.
