A new apartment project located just minutes from the Adelaide CBD, Penny Place is a development first home buyers and professionals might find attractive. The development is close to a number of amenities, including parklands, sporting grounds, restaurants and cafes, and shops.
Penny Place is a new apartment development sitting in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. There are one and two-bedroom apartments available, making this project perhaps most ideal for first home buyers and professionals.
All of the apartment designs share a number of features. Every apartment has full-width balconies connected to the open-plan living and dining area, and the bedrooms. Blockout roller blinds come standard in the bedrooms (ideal if you’re not really a morning person), with sunscreen roller blinds in the living areas. The kitchens all have Caesarstone benchtops, glass splashbacks and Bosch cooktops and ovens, along with a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher.
One feature we really like is the separate laundry area. You don’t see that in one and two-bedroom apartments a lot, so it highlights the level of thought that has gone into the design of these apartments.
The display suite for Penny Place is currently located just up the road from the development site. It is open by appointment only. To make an appointment to view Penny Place, please use the enquiry form below.
Penny Place is expected to begin construction soon, with completion in July 2021.
Penny Place is located at 17 Penny Place, Adelaide, right in the centre of the Adelaide CBD. The apartments are extremely well located, with everything from parkland to high-end restaurants within walking distance. For those in law, the Adelaide Magistrates Court is just around the corner on King William Street.
Some of the best restaurants, shops and cafes in Adelaide are within walking distance of Penny Place. This includes Herringbone Restaurant, which is the new ‘it’ spot to catch up with friends, Resaurant Orana, one of the best restaurants in South Australia, and Cafe Outside the Square, which is where you head for good food and even better coffee, according to locals. Everything you need to buy can be found at either the Adelaide Central Market — home to fresh produce galore — or Rundle Mall, which is where you’ll find everything from Myer to Coles.
There are more than a few schooling options nearby, for learners of all ages. Kindergarten-aged children can attend Chancery Lane Montessori Pre-School, or Grey Ward Nursery School, which are two and four minutes away respectively. Primary school aged children can attend Gilles Street Primary School, which specialises in the traditional curriculum, as well as Spanish, performing arts, physical education and media studies. Pulteney caters to children from pre-school through to ‘One Ninety’ (Years 10-12). Adelaide High School is eight minute’s drive away, while St Aloysius College is just 400 metres from Penny Place. There are a number of other options within 15 minutes drive.
Residents have access to a lounge and kitchen on the ground floor of the development.
