Jewel Residences on the Gold Coast has won the ‘Best International Mixed-Use Architecture’ award at the International Property Awards 2016 in London, along with the Asian-Pacific equivalent.
The Wanda Ridong development faced strong competition, ranging from Manhattan, Ajman (UAE), and Brussels. Jewel Managing Director Weimin Xu said it stood out due to it’s avant-garde design and unconventional approach.
The three towers are all asymmetrical, and differ in heights, layouts, and glass facades. This is a stark contrast to the more conventional method where towers share layouts and are symmetrical. The Development is absolute waterfront in Surfers Paradise. More can be found on the Project at the Jewel website
The International Property Awards celebrates projects that are original, high-quality, innovative, and sustainable.
Jewel is set for completion at the beginning of 2019.
