Logan is an up-and-coming city that encompasses quite a few suburbs, including Bahrs Scrub, Logan Central, and Woodridge, just to name a few. The area is currently undergoing a quiet but sweeping change as more and more pockets of it are further developed, making Logan a sought-after location for first-home buyers and investors. Another major draw for the area is the fact that, quite often, it actually costs less in the long term to own your own property than to rent, which is basically unheard of throughout most of Queensland.

But remember that…
- Logan is 20 kilometres from Brisbane CBD and traffic commuting to and from the city can experience heavy delays at peak times.

Location & Transport
Logan covers a large area, which means that public and private transport options are available for residents to make use of. If you’re driving, three major highways pass through the area: the Pacific Motorway (linking Brisbane to the Gold Coast), Mount Lindesay Highway (which links Brisbane and Beaudesert) and the Logan Motorway (connecting Logan to Ipswich). All three are fast ways to access most of the area.
If you’d prefer to make use of public transport, you can use one of two bus services in the area. The Logan City Bus Service covers the eastern side of Logan; this includes going to Brisbane via the South-east Busway, with stops at the Logan Hyperdome and Garden City Shopping Centre. Park Ridge Transit covers the western side of Logan, with all services interchanging at the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre in Browns Plains.
The Brisbane-Gold Coast train line services Logan, with eight stops throughout the region. These stops (Trinder Park, Woodridge, Kingston, Loganlea, Bethania, Eden’s Landing, Holmview and Beenleigh) all come on a half-hourly basis throughout the day. The Gold Coast Express service also operates half-hourly, but it only stops at Loganlea on some services.
