A luxury apartment development with parkland views is replacing the former Mecure Hotel on Spring Street. The new apartment project, 17 Spring Street, will stand 33 levels tall once complete.
17 Spring Street is a new apartment project located in the Melbourne CBD. In close proximity to the ‘Paris end’ of Collins Street (ie. one of the most gorgeous parts of the CBD), the famed Melbourne culinary icons at the ‘top end of town’, the theatre precinct, as well as Melbourne’s world renown sports and entertainment venues such as the MCG and Melbourne Park – it’s clear that the project is in (perhaps) one of the best locations in the city.
With 73 two, three, and four-bedroom apartments across 33 levels, the development has been designed with professionals in mind. Residences will feature natural light with floor to ceiling glazing while a large number of apartments have cross-flow ventilation (the best apartments for this are those running from east to west). Large balconies and terraces act as a natural extension of kitchen and living area, and buyers will have the ability to personalise their preferred combination of material palettes and finishes.
FEBRUARY 2021: Hacer Group has been appointed as the builder for this project. Please check back soon for more information.
SEPTEMBER 2020: Construction proper has not begun, but completion is expected in mid-2022. Demolition of the former Mecure Hotel has commenced.
Located at 17 Spring Street, Mebourne, the new apartment project sits in the Melbourne CBD overlooking the Treasury Gardens. The development is also just off Wellington Parade, meaning that all of Melbourne is easy to access.
