Canopy is a collection of 130 residences across 27 storeys, directly opposite Chevron Island Park.
Designed by BDA Architecture as a modern vertical Queenslander, the building brings together deep verandas, indoor-outdoor living, and a design that responds to Queensland’s subtropical climate.
Surrounded by the Nerang River, Chevron Island has an established village centre along Thomas Drive, with cafés, restaurants, and everyday conveniences. The Green Bridge connects the island to HOTA, Home of the Arts. Canopy builds on SIERA’s presence on the island through Tapestry and its Gold Coast office on Thomas Drive.
With six residences per typical floor, Canopy is scaled for residents who value knowing their neighbours.
Canopy provides two dedicated resident amenity levels. Canopy Club on Level 5 brings together a magnesium pool and spa, cold plunge, sauna, gym, Pilates studio, private dining, and library and work-from-home spaces, alongside a combined golf simulator and theatre. Above, The Sky Garden offers a rooftop orchard, vegetable gardens, greenhouse, a 100-metre walking track, and places to sit among the planting.
The development approval for Canopy has been granted. The project is currently within the pre-construction phase as of September 2026.
