The Project

M Apartments is a new apartment development located in the sought-after suburb of Kangaroo Point. It consists of 46 one and two-bedroom apartments which are spread across seven stories. The central location of the project is one of its major selling points – it’s close to everything in the Brisbane CBD, but still removed enough that residents don’t have to deal with all of the business the CBD can bring. Kangaroo Point, as a suburb, is also expect to grow and develop further over the next couple of years, making this project ideal for those who want to be in the next property hotspot.

Each apartment makes use of pattern and colour in glazed wall tiles, terrazzo and timber flooring in choices of natural or darker tones. The apartments are all designed to feel very zen-like, with a focus on open indoor spaces and the ability to let in lots of light through the windows. The apartments are all also designed to facilitate cross-breezes, which will be lovely during the summer months.

This project is also eligible for the HomeBuilder grant.

Construction Updates

NOVEMBER 2020: Construction on M Apartments is about to start, and the project is on track for completion in December 2022.

Suburb Experts

Located at 699 Main Street, Kangaroo Point, M Apartments sits across the road from a large parkland, and a block back from the Brisbane River. The apartments are within walking distance of a number of amenities, including restaurants, cafes and shops. The Mater Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital is also just five minutes down the road, for resident’s peace of mind.

For those who commute to work, there are a number of travel options in the area. Using Main Street, residents can easily turn onto Vulture Street or the Pacific Motorway, which can be used to connect them through to most parts of Brisbane. If public transport is your preferred form of transport, options include bus (there are numerous stops along Main Road) and ferry, with the Maritime Museum Ferry Terminal roughly ten minutes walk away. The city is also accessable through the nearby Goodwill Bridge.

There are a number of schools in the area. The closest primary schools are St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School and East Brisbane State School, both of which are less than five minutes away. High schools in the area include St Laurence’s College, Shafston International College, All Hallows School, and Somerville House. If you are at (or considering attending) tertiary education, the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Gardens Point campus is just across the river, while the Griffith University Southbank campus is just down the road.

Communal Facilities

Residents will have access to a rooftop communal area, which will include a terrace area and BBQ area, with views over the surrounding area.

The project will also include three commercial businesses located on the ground floor.
