The Beach apartments is a new development in the heart of Broadbeach, just in time for the Commonwealth Games. The Beach Apartments will be located 400 metres from the beach and 4 km from the heart of Surfers Paradise.
Living at the Beach apartments means that you are within walking distance to beach, Jupiter’s Casino, Pacific Fair Shopping Center and the many restaurants and bars that are popping up throughout Broadbeach. Public transport is also easily accessible with the Beach Apartments within walking distance to bus stops and the Broadbeach South Tram Link (G:Link).
The Beaches at Broadbeach consists of 219 apartments over 35 levels. There are a combination of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments available. All apartment floor plans have a kitchen island bench, open plan living in the kitchen, dining and living room. The apartments also come with ducted air conditioning, which is good for the hotter summer months in Queensland. They also have glass window and balconies to incorporate natural light and air. All apartments come with 1 car park space in a secure underground car park, and an intercom system to each apartment. There is also a Porte-cochere (covered driveway) for residents use.
The final collection, which has only recently been released, includes two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom apartments with two (2) car parks.
The Beach includes a landscaped podium terrace with BBQ areas, a gym, and outdoor pool and a zen garden.
In the below gallery, you can see the floor plans for the apartment types that are still available.
The Beach Apartments are located at 51 Surf Parade, Broadbeach. Surf Parade is a two lane street that runs parallel to the Gold Coast Highway. There is on-street parking, however it may prove difficult to get regular parking on the street as there are lots of apartment developments and complexes throughout Surf Parade, and the area is just generally busy. The Beach is located within walking distance of the (actual) beach and is just 400 metres from one the the Gold Coast’s best beaches.
If you are travelling from the north (i.e. from Brisbane or Surfer’s Paradise) you can gain access to Surf Parade and The Beach Apartments via Elizabeth Street as there are traffic lights there that allow for a left turn. If you are travelling from the South (i.e. from Tweed, Coolangatta etc) you can gain access to Surf Parade and The Beach Apartments from Margaret Street, which allows for a right turn from the Gold Coast Highway as there are traffic lights, which isn’t always the case along the Gold Coast Highway.
The Beach Apartments is also located near several public transport options. The Surf Parade @ Broadbeach Mall station is 300 metres from The Beach. This bus stop has three routes. Route 705 goes from Broadbeach south through to Sea World (Main Beach). Route TX 2 goes from Wet N’ Wild (Helensvale) through to Broadbeach South. Route TX 3 runs from Dreamworld (Coomera) through to Broadbeach South. These routes run typically every 20 mins. These three routes only travel north of Broadbeach, to travel south to Coolangatta, Tweed etc you will need to travel to the Broadbeach South station (400 metres), which has multiple routes and travels from one end of the Gold Coast to the other. You can also catch the G:Link tram services here which goes from Broadbeach South through to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
There are two schools that are in close vicinity to The Beach: Broadbeach State School, and Miami State High School. Broadbeach State School is a coeducational primary school that accommodates years Prep – 6. Miami State High School which is 3.6 km from The Beach and accommodates years 7 – 12.
The closest hospital to The Beach is the Gold Coast University Hospital, which takes about 25 minutes to get to via car. In terms of medical facilities there are a few situated around Broadbeach, like Broadbeach General Practice (400 metres) and Broadbeach General Practice (260 metres).
The Beach has been designed to flow from room to room allowing natural light to filter in throughout the apartment. Another element that allows natural light and sea breezes to flow through the apartment is floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the living and bedroom spaces. There is also an emphasis on maximizing space, as shown in the kitchens, which all include an island bench, adding extra bench space to the kitchen.
There are two colour schemes available to choose from when purchasing an apartment at The Beach. Both colour schemes have been inspired by natural coastal elements. The bedrooms and living spaces are carpeted while the kitchen and bathrooms have tiles.
The bathrooms throughout all apartments include single sink vanities and a shower. No apartments include a bathtub, which may be a negative for some people.
The facilities at The Beach are quite impressive. There is a residents lobby and reception which is staffed, a 20-metre lap pool, zen garden, residents communal BBQ and dining terrace, a fully equipped gym with shower facilities, residents lounge and a powder room.
The $150 million Beach Apartments Broadbeach is being developed by a joint venture between two highly successful South East Queensland property businesses, Anthony Moreton Group and Pryde Group.
