Buying in Brisbane can be difficult: after all, there are hundreds of projects throughout the city, and all of them look equally great on paper. Choosing the right home or investment property for you is especially difficult when you’re considering luxury property, as each development has something that sets it apart from everything else, and each project may not be directly comparable.
With that in mind, we’ve bought together the best projects throughout Brisbane for your perusal. Here, we’ve bought together the projects everyone’s talking about. These projects are some of the best of the best throughout the city, with incredible views, great locations, and amazing amenities in all of them.
The One Residences will be the newest addition to the Brisbane Quarter, joining W Brisbane and 300 George. The tallest building in the Brisbane Quarter development, The One Residences brings luxury apartment living to the world-class mixed-use development (and 360-degree views). The 81-storey riverfront development will be home to 467 off-the-plan apartments in a variety of styles, with neutral colour schemes highlighting the views from these Brisbane CBD apartments. An outstanding feature of this project is its 3,500 sqm sky garden which will provide residents with an outstanding entertainment area. The One Residences has a strong focus on resident amenities which is reflected in the vast range of inclusions; namely a gym and outdoor yoga and relaxation area on ‘The Riverdeck’, and a business lounge and formal dining room on ‘The Quarter Deck’, 45 levels up in the sky (to name just a few facilities available). The apartments have been designed with professionals, families and downsizers in mind, which is clear in the included facilities and thoughtful design throughout.
Silk One is a truly unique offering (a term we do not use lightly) in the Australian apartment market because it gives residents something you can’t get anywhere else in the country: box seat views of The Gabba, without being inside the iconic stadium. The first of three towers, Silk One is arriving in Woolloongabba at a time which will allow residents to take advantage of the many urban infrastructure upgrades the area is experiencing. The second tower, Silk Lane, is due to start selling soon and Silk Three is still gaining DA approval.
Given that Woolloongabba is set to experience extensive growth and transformation over the coming years (with the Cross River Rail, the CBD Bikeway, and the recently-announced Gabba stadium upgrade), buying now may perhaps be the ideal plan of action if moving into the area is your goal. The urban renewal of the area is definitely something that should interest investors.
443 Queen Street is a truly stand-out development currently under construction in the Brisbane CBD. This luxury waterfront development consists of a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments across a 47-storey tower, all with great views. Apartments at 443 Queen Street start from $730,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, $1,175,000 for a two bedder and $2,550,000 for a three and four-bedroom apartment. 443 Queen Street is Australia’s first WOHA designed building, and it has been created with the sub-tropical climate of Queensland specifically in mind. This iconic design, coupled with the rare location and outstanding facilities mean a development of this calibre is unlikely to be repeated in Brisbane.
A new apartment development currently under construction in Brisbane, Queen’s Wharf is one of the largest construction projects to take place within the CBD area in a number of years. The Residences form part of the larger Queen’s Wharf development, which is expected to become a landmark destination in the city. Queen’s Wharf Residences are located in the tallest building in the precinct. This tower is only the only residential tower that will be directly connected to the communal facilities of the integrated resort development.
There are several different types of apartments available for sale in the Queen’s Wharf Residences tower. There are one, two and three bedroom apartments available, separated into Emerald (levels 8-25), Ruby (levels 27-44) and Diamond categories (levels 45-64). Ruby and Emerald apartments will have balconies, while Diamond apartments will have winter gardens with lift and tilt windows.
The Sinclair by Mosaic is a new apartment development located in East Brisbane, just down the road from The Gabba. The project consists of 122 two and three bedroom apartments across two buildings.
The project has been designed by Rothelowman, one of Australia’s top architecture firms. It is set to have a very modern design, with neutral white, grey, and timber finishes throughout the apartments. All of the apartments have been designed with professionals and smaller families in mind. Two-bedroom apartments with one bathroom and one car park are priced from $601,500. Three-bedroom apartments with two bathrooms and two car parks start from $891,500.
