Aura Varsity Lakes is a boutique development situated directly on Lake Orr. Aura consists of a total of 170 apartments over two stages. Stage 1 has completed construction and has 1 apartment left whilst Stage 2 is also almost sold out at the time of writing this review.
Aura is located in Varsity Lakes, which has an amazing rental vacancy rate of 0.8%, one of the lowest in the Country. The balcony in Aura apartments have glass stacker doors which allow for the doors to be folded back, to completely open the balcony into the living space.
Aura at Varsity Lakes is a boutique development with only 4 apartments per floor. Aura has been designed to capture natural light and the breeze from Lake Orr, which is a man-made lake connection to the ocean through a number of causeways. There are two and three bedrooms available. The development includes a private rooftop terrace with zen garden.

The Kitchens throughout Aura differ from apartment to apartment. There are some apartments that are U Shaped and some that include an island bench. All kitchens include an oven, dishwasher, cooktop and 1 1/2 sink. The flooring throughout the living areas are timber look flooring and the bench tops are stone bench tops. Lighting throughout the apartments is Eco-friendly LED mood lighting.
The balconies at Aura are the stand out feature. The doors along the balconies are sliding stacker doors which allow them to be pulled back and fully open up the living area onto the balcony to allow breeze from the lake, natural light and enables to the balcony to become part of the true living space.

The bedrooms across Aura are generally separate from the living spaces which is great for privacy and noise. There are a few apartments that have rooms that back onto each other but the majority are spaced out.
All apartments, besides the two bedrooms, one bath, include a bathtub in the main bathroom. The bathrooms include floor to ceiling tiling.
The amenities at Aura stand out. These include two resort style pools, a spa, a sauna, rooftop terraces with Zen gardens and BBQ cabanas with Teppanyaki Grills.

Aura apartments are located at 33 Lakefront Crescent, Varsity Lakes. Lakefront Crescent is exactly what its name states, Lake Front. This street is a U shaped street running parallel to the lake. The only way to Lakefront crescent is through Varsity Parade. Lakefront Crescent is a small narrow street with on-street parking being quite scarce due to the number of apartments and townhouses along the street.
Aura is located to some easily accessible public transport options. There is the Varsity Parade (Near Main Street) bus stop 100 m from Aura. This bus stop has only one route that travels from it, route 750, which goes from Robina through to Broadbeach. If you needed to get from the Gold Coast to Brisbane with ease, the Varsity Lakes train station is located just 2.5 km away. This station travels from Varsity Lakes all the way to the Brisbane Airport, perfect if you work or travel to Brisbane often. There is a small shopping centre located about 800m from Aura. This includes a gym, IGA for groceries, Medical facilities such as a GP and a post office.
Schools within the vicinity of Aura are Varsity Lakes Primary (P – 6) which is 2.3 km from Aura, Varsity High school (7 – 12) which is 400 m from Aura, Robina State High School (7 – 12) which is 4.4 km from Aura and Robina Primary School (P – 6) which is 3.7 km from Aura.
One of the major draw cards to the area is Bond University, which is walking distance from Aura. It is a world-class private University.
