There’s no denying that Broadbeach’s Vue apartments boast some of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after digs. Atop the 25 level tower of Vue will sit a penthouse worth $5 million — and it’s just been sold. The developers, Andrews Projects, confirmed this week that the Gold Coast penthouse had been sold for a near-record breaking $5 million to a “mystery buyer”. The building is still under construction and isn’t expected to be complete until the start of 2020.
Sales manager Sarah Andrews says she wasn’t surprised by the purchase of the penthouse, as all but 15 apartments have sold across the entire building. Since sales launched at the beginning of the year, the vast majority of ocean-view apartments have sold thanks to the excellent location and residential facilities.
“The overall design, which is very organic, will provide a real point of difference from the outside, while the inside features a resident’s lounge, sauna, pool and alfresco barbecue areas,” Ms. Andrews said.
While the identity and occupation of the Gold Coast penthouse buyer remain unknown, they were apparently very “taken” by these elements of the development.
Residential facilities at Vue Broadbeach
At Vue, this $5 million investment has secured the buyer a four bedroom, three bathroom residence with an additional multi-purpose room. The penthouse extends over two levels and offers more than 400 square metres of space — much more than your average suburban home. With several balconies, oversized bedrooms and premium fixtures this apartment also has breathtaking views of the ocean from every aspect of the home.
The sub-penthouse is still up for grabs, at $2.3 million for a half floor residence of 207m². For buyers seeking grandeur (but perhaps not so grand as the penthouse or sub-penthouse), the developers have been allowing buyers to amalgamate multiple lots and provide brand-new floor plans for these custom-made apartments.

With several developments currently spread across the Gold Coast, some with penthouses up to $41.2 million, the fast sale of these luxury apartments is no surprise when you look at the property value growth in the area. Thanks to a large number of downsizers moving from the suburbs to find their dream home on the beach, the Gold Coast recorded the second highest property value growth in all of Queensland over the 2016-2017 financial year.
