Cambridge Residences is a new development located in Robina on the Gold Coast. There are 127 one, two and three bedroom apartments being offered in Stage 3. Prices start from $325,000 for the one bedroom apartments and $626,000 for the three-bedroom apartments, making this development ideal for first home buyers and investors, given the price range and location.
Stage 3 of Cambridge Residences offers a mix of 127 one, two and three bedroom apartments over 12 levels. The apartments range in size from 74-158 sqm, including courtyard/balcony areas. Prices start from $325,000 for the one bedroom apartments and $626,000 for the three bedroom apartments. This puts Cambridge Residences at the lower end of the average prices for the area. Cambridge Residences is being marketed mainly toward first home buyers and investors. This makes sense, given the price range and location.
Residents will have access to well-thought-out amenities including a pool, gym, multiple dining and recreation areas and BBQ area. Every apartment also has a basement car park, and there is ample guest parking. As you can see in the photos above, these Gold Coast apartments are finished to a high quality for a development in this price range.
We noticed when we visited the site that the gardens at Cambridge Residences are very well developed and attractive. It’s a definite plus in favour of the onsite managers, as it’s obvious that they’re up-keeping the site to a high-level. Another plus in favour of the development is the fact that the views to the south are protected, due to a new townhouse development (you can see this in the panorama below). One slight negative is the fact that the balconies are not very large, overall. This is a bit of a shame as it sits on a prominent hill with good perspective and views. However, when we visited we noted that the balconies are still big enough to let the breeze through the apartments.

UPDATE AUGUST 2019: There are a few apartments remaining for sale off the plan, with residents expected to begin moving into Stage 3 in September 2019.
Cambridge Residences is located at 42 Laver Drive, Robina. This puts it within walking distance of the Robina Town Centre, the CBUS Stadium, Bond University and the Robina Hospital. Despite the fact that the development is next to a train station, there is next to no noise from the trains themselves. When we visited the site, a train went past we could barely hear it.
Cambridge Residences is also very close to a number of well-respected schools. Robina State High School is literally just next door. Bond University, which is one of the best independent universities in Australia, is also very close by.
We were told that one aspect of the location that buyers seemed to really like was its proximity to the Robina Town Centre, a major shopping, dining and entertainment complex. There are also public and private hospitals literally only a few minutes walk away, which form part of a major medical precinct.
These Gold Coast apartments are also located close to a number of public transport options. The Robina Train Station is 4 minutes drive away, and there are a number of bus stops next to the train station. There are two bus stops in the opposite direction, which are about 3 minutes drive away. Between these options, almost anywhere on the Gold Coast is within easy reach.
