Parklands Grange Estate is a house and land development in Bundaberg. Parklands Grange has a collection of half and three-quarter acre lots for sale, all with connections for town water, NBN fibre, and underground power. All of the lots are more than 2,000 sqm in size, making them ideal for families or those who want a bit of space to themselves, especially given the estate’s location on the outskirts of Bundaberg. Residents are close to the Stockland Shopping Centre, and there is a cinema and schools close by. Bundaberg Ring Road is also within easy access of the estate, so Bargara Beach is no more than 30 minutes away.
There is no display suite for Parklands Grange, however buyers can arrange to view available lots by appointment.
Parklands Grange Estate has been developed over a number of years, with the large lots popular with families. Lots in this house and land estate are priced from $139,950, all of which are larger than 2,000 sqm — which is quite a bit larger than normal. There are also house and land packages available. It’s worth noting that you don’t have to build with a specific builder, however, there are house designs associated with certain lots already, to make it easier. House and land packages start from $393,904, and all have three or four bedrooms, along with double garages.
The team behind Parklands Grange have also put quite a lot of effort into protecting native flora and fauna throughout the development. A 10-acre plot of land greenery is part of the estate design, which is one of the few remaining homes to the endangered Bush Stone-Curlew birds. There’s also 3,790 metres of walking tracks, which run throughout the estate and through the parkland.

Parklands Grange is located in Branyan in Bundaberg. The large estate is located off Childers Road, which is one of the main roads running through the suburb and Bundaberg itself. Branyan is south-east of the Bundaberg CBD, which is only a 15-minute drive away — close enough for everything to be easily accessed, but far enough for residents to feel like they’re got breathing space. The Bundaberg Airport is on the way to the CBD, and with Bundaberg Ring Road (which is a commonly used short-cut by locals) Bargara Beach is only 30 minutes away.
Residents can send their children to Branyan Road State School, which is Bundaberg’s first and only Independent Public School (IPS). This allows the school to tailor how it operates to fit the needs of its students. The closest catholic primary school is St. Joseph’s School. Older children can attend St. Lukes Anglican School, or Shalom College. There are state schools closer to the development, however admittance to these depends on the specific location of the lot. If you’ve got tertiary aged children who don’t quite want to move out yet, that’s fine, because the Central Queensland University (CQU) Bundaberg campus is just down Childers Road, as is TAFE Bundaberg.
Residents will have access to a number of walking paths (3,790 metres of them) as well as parklands, and a playground for kids to use. Given the sizes of each lot, there aren’t any other communal facilities, as it is likely that residents will have room for anything they need on their own lot. A new set of gym equiptment in the Parklands Park has just been added, along with the walking paths through the Parklands Reserve being extended.
Parklands Grange is being developed by the Moorhead Family Communities Bundaberg development group. They are a family-run Bundaberg company that has been working in the area for over 30 years. Their most recent project is Bargara Headlands, but Parklands Grange has been one of their most popular to date.
