The estate is set around a large lake, giving residents lakeside living just minutes away from the beach, and is designed to be family-friendly. Given this, its popularity with first home buyers and downsizers is not surprising.
Lots range between 400 and 1,035 sqm at Sandstone Lakes. All of them have slightly larger than normal frontages, which makes them ideal for those who like their space. The available lots are also NBN ready, so picking a lot — and the accompanying house — is as simple as picking out the shape and size you’d like.
As mentioned, there are quite a few different house designs available. They are from a range of builders, including Metricon, D.J. Roberts, and Integrale Homes. Sandstone Lakes is located in Ningi, about 45 minutes outside of the Brisbane CBD. The growing estate is sought-after for its location, which is close to the Bruce Highway and Caboolture railway station, but also minutes away from Bribie Island. Residents are also a few minutes walk from the Pacific Harbour golf course and country club, and the Sandstone Point Hotel, which is one of the best in Australia.
Residents can send their children to Bribie Island State School and Bribie Island State High School, or Banksia Beach State School. St Michael’s Caboolture is less than half an hour away, along with St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School. There are a large number of early learning centres and kindergartens in the area, which is great for growing families. For those continuing their education at the tertiary level, the University of the Sunshine Coast have their Caboolture campus close by, as des TAFE Queensland.
