The One Residences will be the newest addition to the Brisbane Quarter, joining W Brisbane and 300 George. The tallest building in the Brisbane Quarter development, The One Residences brings luxury apartment living to the world-class mixed-use development (and 360-degree views). The 81-storey riverfront development will be home to 467 off-the-plan apartments in a variety of styles, with neutral colour schemes highlighting the views from these Brisbane CBD apartments.
The One Residences has been a hot topic in the property industry, and for good reason. A much sought-after project — by owner-occupiers and investors alike — for its incredible views and its fantastic location, The One is the project you should be looking at if you want something different in the Brisbane CBD.
The level of luxury at The One Residences is to the degree that few other projects in Brisbane could hope to reach. The apartments at this project are made from high-quality materials, and with high degrees of customization, buyers are given the opportunity to create a space that suits them and their specifications.
There are several different floor plan and finish options at The One, which means there’s something to suit every buyer. In fact, there are four levels of finishes at The One Residences. All levels include custom joinery with a scalloped design, however, the quality of the appliances varies between Miele (Level 1) to Gaggenau (Level 4). Even the Level 1 inclusions aren’t something to dismiss: Miele is a well-known brand and their appliances come with a free two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Level 4 finishes include fluted glass accents on overhead cupboards, bringing a new level of sophistication to the kitchen spaces.
The high-quality finishes don’t end there though. It’s the small features that really show how much thought has gone into this project – nothing has been overlooked, and no detail was considered too small. The bathroom vanities in all of the apartment floor-plans have been custom built and contain specially designed inlaid storage mirrors — a feature any apartment owner is sure to love, considering how cluttered bathrooms can become when you’ve got a lot of makeup and toiletries. This is something you rarely see, even in other high-end luxury developments. The mere fact that the bathrooms were designed with such thought and consideration to future tenants lives is testament to the time and effort the design teams put into this project.
Of course, the project has more going on for it than what’s just inside the apartments. Sitting inside the Brisbane CBD, The One is close to all of the action in Brisbane: CityCats can take you to South Bank with the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) as well as the Brisbane Convention Centre (among many other amenities), and Queen Street Mall is just minutes away. It’s simply the best parts of Brisbane, all accessible from one convenient location.
There are also a number of feature developments going up in or around the CBD which will make the city the place to be in the coming years. The biggest is Queen’s Wharf, which, once complete, will include over 7.5 hectares of riverside space that the public has access to, a shopping centre, and a number of restaurants. For residents at The One, this project represents a wealth of opportunities: you could go for a picnic with friends in the parkland, go shopping, or even go to work, literally just minutes down the road. Another major project within walking distance will be the new green bridge joining Kangaroo Point and the City Botanic Gardens. This means that accessing other areas of Brisbane will become even easier from the CBD. Once complete, you could cycle to work on the Southside in less than 20 minutes, or simply pop on over to Woolloongabba to attend an event taking place in the revamped Woolloongabba Stadium or future convention centre. Residents at The One are clearly in a place to benefit from the new opportunities in the surrounding area.
One of the best features of living in the city is, of course, the fantastic atmosphere. Brisbane is well-known for hosting some of the best events in Australia – Riverfire and Brisfest come to mind here – and these are only expected to get better and better over the next decade. Beyond this however, the Brisbane CBD is a very fun and eclectic place to live. From hidden bars (we recommend Legends Speakeasy Bar or Next Episode in South Brisbane) to fantastic markets and street food festivals, the Brisbane CBD certainly has it all. These experiences are only going to get better and better as the years go on.
Alone, each of these features would be standouts, but all in one development? All of these features make The One Residences one of the best apartment developments in Brisbane. Read more about The One Residences below.
I am someone that has lived in most newly built buildings in Brisbane CBD over the last 18 years. Following my recent visit to The One I can only say I have never been more disappointed. So disappointed I am compelled to write this review. When will developers stop building rubbish and when will buyers wise up to the rubbish they are purchasing? Yes, I understand most will be overseas investors. To the point; The largest 2 bed 2 bath 1 car been 100 Sqm (no balcony) are ridiculously small. Any potential for much needed floor space has been lost to its structural design. The… Read more »
