Consisting of 75 two and three-bedroom apartments, The Catalina is a new apartment project on the Gold Coast. Sitting one block back from the Nerang River and within walking distance of Thomas Drive, The Catalina is pet-friendly and been designed with owner-occupiers in mind.
The Catalina is a new apartment development sitting on Chevron Island on the Gold Coast. With two and three-bedroom apartments available (in quite a few different floor plan configurations) The Catalina is clearly a project that had been designed from owner-occupiers. It has a number of amenities you usually don’t see in developments in this price range (including a hydrotherapy room, and boardroom), and combined with its location, mean this developments provides an ideal residence for the likes of mature professionals and downsizers.
All of the apartments will be finished in pale greys and neutral woods, providing a modern and elegant aesthetic. The master bedroom (in both the two and three-bedroom configurations) is separated from the rest of the bedrooms, offering more privacy to residents. The kitchen, living room and dining areas are all connected and open onto the balcony.
One thing to be aware of this the fact that the A/C units are located just outside of one of the bedrooms. This could potentially be annoying for residents as it will generate some noise and doesn’t look to fabulous out on your balcony either.
Another project that’s worth considering if you like The Catalina is Mali Residences. Mali is a luxury apartment building at the northern end of Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast. The development is located only 100 metres from Pratten Park. Mali offers one-bedroom apartments from $465,000, two bedrooms + study from $755,000 and three bedrooms from $1,525,000. Construction on Mali commenced before the end of 2019 and buyers can expect to move in early 2021.
The display suite for The Catalina is currently located onsite, at 258 Stanhill Drive, Chevron Island. It is open daily from 10am to 4pm, or by appointment. To make an appointment, please use the enquiry form below.

Located at 258 Stanhill Drive, Chevron Island, The Catalina is just one block back from the Nerang River. Within walking distance of Thomas Drive — the main thoroughfare and shopping strip on Chevron Island — the apartments are also just down from Stanhill Park. For all your weekend entertainment needs, The Home of the Arts (HOTA) is just across the river. Residents will be able to access it by using the new bridge that is currently under construction, putting them only a few minutes walk away from the entertainment precinct and parklands. The Southport Racecourse is 5-minutes drive away for those who like to attend the races or are involved in equine-related industries.
There are quite a few schools close to The Catalina due to its central location. Surfers Paradise State School, which caters to students in Prep – Year 6, is just under 10-minutes drive away, while the Kool Kids Early Learning Centre is just a little further away. Keebra Park State High School is the closest high school, just over 5 minutes away. The Southport School, an all-boys Anglican school is close by, as is their all-girls sister school, St Hilda’s.
